Horses do respond to our voices.⁠

So voice commands are useful when used in the right setting.⁠
For instance, it is not so useful when teaching a group of people as their would be so much talking and it would get too confusing for the horse. But at home training it can be very useful.⁠

The pitch and tone, inflection and volume of your voice conveys messages to horse about what your command is.⁠
⁠
As a prey animal a horses sense of hearing is highly sensitive, so that it can detect danger and respond and run really quickly. Horses can hear whispers, so using a loud voice or shouting is not needed.⁠

Learning how to speak to your horse is an important part of stable management.⁠

A good quality unpasteurised apple cider vinegar is a good supplement to give to a horse.

30-50ml for a horse or 15-30ml for a pony daily (30ml is about 2 tablespoons.

When taken orally, it can help with digestion and anti-inflammation and conditions such as arthritis.
On the skin it helps to relieve itching and has some disinfectant properties when used on mild wounds.

For most people and animals apple cider vinegar has health benefits when consumed, but we are all different, as are horses in the unlikely event that you notice an allergy or reaction or reduced appetite, you should stop giving the horse this supplement.
